OK, just how freaking *STUPID* can they be? I keep thinking they've reached the absolute nadir, but noooooooooooooooo. They keep digging themselves deeper into whole new dimensions of stupidity.

And according to information in pandagon link, it was just part of a project to develop oh i don't know non-lethal bombs. (While other politicians down here are muttering about nuclear bombs.)

OTOH, a cheering note--one of the major conservative op-ed people wrote a fantastic column today about the way the Bush presidency has completely destroyed conservatism making it mean no more than never having to say you're sorry!
