i can't really articulate the particulars, as it's just an impression brought about by That Woman gloating about racist white women rushing to purchase her book to 'show those *politically correct* types what's what.' i know that's why sales are up, however temporarily-- liberal white women going 'oh i am glbt/pagan/etc and those darn POC don't understand REAL OPPRESSION' so they support one of their own in a joyous display of racist solidarity.
